Fee Schedule
Elbereth keeps a platform fee from each payment for a priced listing. The fee is a percentage of the price, taken from the seller's proceeds; the buyer pays the listed price. Free listings carry no fee.
Rates

The default rate is 12%. It applies to a sale that cannot be placed in a tier, such as a price in a currency with no rate below.
Currencies
A sale is placed in a tier by its price converted to Australian dollars at these fixed rates (AUD per unit of the currency). We do not use live exchange rates.

Other rates
We may agree a different rate with a seller, for a period, or for a listing. Whatever rate applies to a listing is shown on the listing and at checkout, before anyone pays, and the rate for a payment is fixed when checkout opens.
